Helpdesk

The FNS technical support and helpdesk serves one function, and one function only – to help our clients. The world of IT is complex and confusing and there’s no reason why you, as a business owner, should be expected to understand it. After all, you know how to drive your car, but would you know how to replace the starter motor? No, probably not. You take it to a qualified mechanic who will identify the problem and then give you a solution to that problem. The same principle applies to your IT.

The vast majority of our work can be done remotely but if we need to schedule site visits, we will. Some companies are happy for us to have remote access to individual machines enabling us to fix problems ‘in vision’, and some, quite understandably, are not. As with every service we offer, our technical support is tailored to what you and your business needs to carry on your day-to-day activities uninterrupted.

The ‘hosting’ of your website and email is the second stage (after registering your domain name) in having a fully integrated presence on the Internet. Network Infrastructure

We design and install structured cabling systems for all small, medium, and large companies. We can if you require, design a cabling system to suit your building, build a new network around your old system, project manage the installations to ensure a complete working network throughout its lifetime. If you are a growing business that needs to upgrade your existing cabling infrastructure then you could benefit from a structured cabling installation or additions to your existing cabling. Along with the cabling are moves and changes, we can relocate the existing cabling and computers and telephones within an existing building or install new should a user want to move desks or location. We can also offer a full IT relocation package

A structured cabling system provides a universal platform upon which an overall IT strategy is formed. With a flexible cabling infrastructure a structured cabling system can support multiple voice, data, video and multimedia systems regardless of their manufacture. Site Survey & Pre-Budget planning

At FNS, we strongly believe in the age-old saying, ‘failing to prepare is preparing to fail’.

Your IT is what keeps your business running smoothly and at its optimum level, so at the beginning of each year, either financial or calendar, and in full and ongoing consultation with you or your existing IT department, we will plan and outline a strategy for all your IT requirements for the coming twelve months.

This includes all your hardware and any revisions to your Service Level Agreement deemed necessary and on-site, face-to-face meetings with your department heads to ensure all the varying requirements are met satisfactorily.

Once we’ve spoken to everyone we have to and taken away as much relevant information as we need, we’ll then be in a position to propose to you an affordable yet scalable budget, allowing you and your employees to concentrate on the things you do best.
