Google is ending Chrome support for
Windows 7 & 8.1 in early 2023
Popular alternate web browser Chrome it seems, according to windowsreport.com is ending its support for the venerable Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 OS early next year.
According to Google, they advise customers to upgrade to Windows 10 or Windows 11 to continue to use the Chrome web browser. They also point out that continuing to use the ‘old’ Chrome on the old OS can be ‘risky’ for your data so its in you and your companies best interest to upgrade your Microsoft OS if you have not done already!
